Financial Aid: Options

You may be eligible for some of the federal, state and private financial aid programs*, including:

Financial Aid: Student Scholarships

Triton Institute has thousands of dollars available for qualified high school seniors. Requirements vary by campus, but are generally based on academic achievement, work experience, and a written essay. For more details, contact an admissions advisor at your local campus.

Financial Aid: Student Loans and Grants

Our financial aid advisors are available to explain each financial aid option to you, and then guide you to those that are appropriate for your financial needs. They'll even help you apply!

First, find out if you qualify for need-based financial aid. Complete the  Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA is your application for federal grants, loans, work study programs, scholarships, and state funds (available in California). And, if you qualify, the money you receive can be used to cover school expenses, like tuition, fees, books, supplies, and transportation. To file the FAFSA, go to www.fafsa.ed.gov or contact a triton campus near you.

Loans

Loans are borrowed funds that must be repaid with interest.

Grants

Grants are different from student loans. Grants are funds that are typically awarded based on financial need, and they don't generally have to be repaid.

Financial Aid: Work Study

Federal Work Study is a program that provides both on- and off-campus jobs to students with financial need, so that they can earn money to help pay for their education expenses.

Financial Aid: Employer Reimbursement

Some employers will assist you with your education, especially if the skills you acquire in school are relevant to the company's business objective.
